מדינת ישראל, כור מחצבתינו, במלחמה!
מאז יום השבת ה-7 באוקטובר ב-6:30 בבוקר, בו חדרו טרוריסטים מארגון חמאס לשטחה הריבוני של מדינת ישראל וביצעו פשעי מלחמה חסרי תקדים באכזריותם בישובי עוטף עזה ובתושביהם השלוים חפי הפשע, נרתמנו כולנו, בפזורה הישראלית הגלובלית, לעשות ככל שביכולתנו לתמוך במאמץ הלאומי.
מעורבות הישראלים החיים בעולם באה לידי ביטוי לא רק ביציאה להפגנות תמיכה בישראל, אלא בהשפעה על דעת הקהל ואנשי ממשל במדינות השונות באמצעות עיסוק בדיפלומטיה ציבורית, וביצירת דיאלוג עם קהילות לא יהודיות התומכות בישראל.
חברינו תורמים משמעותית בהסברה אוביקטיבית ושקולה ומיגור תקשורת עוינת, במאבק בגילויי אנטישמיות, בגיוס משאבים לצרכיה המידיים של מדינת ישראל וצה״ל בממדים חסרי תקדים, בארגון ארועי סולידריות ועדכון מצב בצורה עקבית מאז פרוץ המלחמה, ובעצם חיזוק תחושת הבטחון בקרב חברי הקהילות הישראליות והיהודיות בתפוצות.

לבקשת עמותת 'מנהיגות ישראלית בתפוצות', קורא ד״ר נחמן שי, דובר צה״ל ושר התפוצות לשעבר לישראלים בעולם לשנס מתניים ולהשתלב במאבק הלאומי על דעת הקהל בעולם, בעיקר במדינות מושבם, כדי להעביר מסר אמין, אחראי ומדויק ולהטות את הכף לתמיכה בישראל. בקריאה זו יש בהכרת מקומם של הישראלים בתפוצות כמרכיב בעל השפעה בפעילות בתקופת המלחמה.

Mark has just returned from a week in southern Israel visiting the Western Negev. – Yahya Mahamid, an Arab Israeli Zionist, educator and Israel advocate, defies stereotypes and embraces a mission and understanding. Born in Umm Al Fahm, he grew up with anti-zionist sentiments but began questioning these views after personal interactions with Israelis challenged his perceptions. His transformative journey led him to embrace his identity as a Muslim Zionist.
